Glamour To Kill

is a band initially created and formed by LUIS MIGUÉLEZ and ANTONIO CULEBRAS, JUAN TORMENTO collaborated with them and finally joint the band.

They started in Berlin in 2002 playing in all kiind of parties and clubs, their concerts, music, performance art, fashion and atittude brought them quickly to become one of the most exciting upcomming band from Berlin, Electronic glam-rock is the sound.

Anxious-electronic, noisy keyboards, obsessiv guitars & sexy vocals make up their sound.

Glamour & decadence, electric & electronic, glam & punk, in the universe of Glamour to Kill everything is possible; a clash of art, performance and music, perfectly tuned on stage.

If you have the luck to see them live at all, you will experience an explosive collection of feelings, dressed by the warm beats of rock´n roll.

As teenageer, Luis started in the music business in Leon, few years later he moved to Barcelona then Valencia and Bilbao and finally Madrid during the Golden Age "MOVIDA MADRILEÑA".
Back in the 80´s that was when Pedro Almodovar (Oscar winner-Film Director and singer) started his career and had a music band called " ALMODOVAR & MCNAMARA.
FABIO MCNAMARA and LUIS MIGUELEZ felt connected since the first moment they met, and started making music together.
In 1987 they released a mini Lp under the name FANNY Y LOS +.
The first album -A TTUTTI PLEIN- came out in 1994 As: “MCNAMARA”

Pedro Almodovar has collaborated with them on Stage and also invited them for a TV show dedicated to the premier of the movie "All about my mother" in 1999.

At the same time Luis was the guitar-player of "ALASKA Y DINARAMA", one of the most popular Spanish bands. They sold millions of records in Spain and South America. They had a lot of success with the band until the beginning of the 90´s. By then, they decided to dissolve the band and together with ALASKA -spanish musical icon- and Nacho Canut founded FANGORIA (pop-techno-band). He composed the first single and hit of this band "EN MI PRISION" which was voted the best song of the year by Rock de Luxe (spanish famous musical magazine) .
While recording, Luis didn’t feel so satisfied and left the band, starting his own project METÁLICOS.
Famous glam-rock band released by Virgin Records in 1991, "PÁNICO" video clip was running on MTV Europe for 3 months.

At the same time working as composer and producer for many different artists:

ALEJANDRO SANZ at that time named "Alejandro Magno ", his album "Los chulos son pa´cuidarlos" composed and produced by Luis Miguélez.
Now ALEJANDRO SANZ is latin-superstar and sells millions albums.
BACCARA, international superstars since the 70´s, Luis remixed " Yes sir, i can boogie" , " Sorry i´m a lady " and finally produced and composed the album: BACCARA "Face to face"
LAS CHAMORRO -rumba-pop band-
TAMARA, an up-coming Spanish underground idol, (her single sold Gold- + 25.000 units in Spain- 9 weeks number 1 in the charts),
COMANDO 9MM, LOS NIÑOS DEL BRASIL, SARA, LOURDES ROBLES, ANA MARIA, JUAN CARLOS VALENCIAGA, JUAN TORMENTO, TIJERITAS, etc ...

Luis wrote the Spanish application for EUROVISION Song Contest in 1992, tittled TODO ESTO ES LA MUSICA performed by SERAFIN ZUBIRI.

He also recorded a solo album -GUITAR DEVOTION- with the name SANLUI (1999) with different artists collaborations and including personal versions of classics songs:
Cocaine, Vicious, Smoke on the water ...

Successful member of the duo called"MCNAMARA"
LUIS MIGUELEZ and FABIO MCNAMARA
are back to the indie scene with a new CD "Rock Station".
The album is acclamed by the specialized press/media and is now a "Cult-album".

and big success in Spain.
